FACT:

Think of your spinal cord as a "Super Highway" of the nervous system. Extending down from the brain, it is protected by just 24 moving bones (Vertebra) of the spinal column.

FACT:

Recent guidelines have now reclassified Ritalin into the same drug category as COCAINE.

Is this what you want your child exposed to....?

Who is causing the drug epidemic in this country???

Just a thought....

What Is Chiropractic Care?

Pensacola, Florida

      Steve Haas, D.C.

A Pensacola Chiropractor since 1991.

The technical definition of chiropractic in Florida is:

"The practice of chiropractic medicine" means a non-combative principle and practice consisting of the science, philosophy, art of the adjustment, manipulation, and treatment of the human body in which vertebral subluxations and other malpositioned articulations and structures that are interfering with the normal generation, transmission, and expression of nerve impulse between the brain, organs, and tissue cells of the body, thereby causing disease, are adjusted, manipulated, or treated, thus restoring the normal flow of nerve impulse which produces normal function and consequent health by chiropractic physicians using specific chiropractic adjustment or manipulation techniques taught in chiropractic college accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education. No person other than a licensed chiropractic physician may render chiropractic services, chiropractic adjustments, or chiropractic manipulation.

If you're in pain?
Then Chiropractic is most likely what you need!

At Southern Spinal Rehab, there's nothing mysterious about chiropractic care. It is simply a natural method of health care that focuses on treating the cause of physical problems, rather than just the symptoms. Chiropractic is based on a simple, but powerful premise that with a normally functioning spine and healthy lifestyle, your body is better able to heal itself. And that if all of your bodies systems are functioning at 100%, you will be in total health.

Chiropractors do not treat "conditions," but instead, they correct a major cause of dis-ease or lack of harmony: the Vertebral Subluxation Complex.

To be in good health, you need a healthy spine just as you need good nutrition.

Subluxations are very common and often painless. That's why you need spinal checkups, just like you need medical and dental checkups for ALL members of your family. (So get moving, call me)!

A healthy spine functions better, therefore your whole body functions better.

What Chiropractors Do:
Chiropractic (in a nutshell) looks for and corrects Vertebral Subluxations (subtle misalignments of the vertebrae which cause nerve irritation and/or impingement).

So how do chiropractors do this?

A "spinal adjustment" is a special procedure your chiropractor uses to correct or relieve your vertebral subluxation complex. By gently applying pressure to the affected spinal bone or other joint, chiropractors effectively realign the joints taking the pressure off the surrounding tissue, i.e., nerves, muscle, ligaments, tendons, and other connective tissues. This helps reduce swelling and pain. And with continued care, these structures will "stay" in place longer, allowing your inflamed tissues to heal. Better function!

Pain relief is easy, THEN comes the hard part, Structural Correction (getting the misalignments to "stay" in place and correcting any structural changes that have taken place over time).
